Changes for 2020 ~

It was a cold frosty day as I walked along the creek
on our quiet mountain road.
I snapped these photos trying to capture the beauty
of the icy covered creek.
Why, even the willow branches were graced with ice crystal's.
A beautiful sight for sure!
Winter is my favorite season and I believe we can enjoy
it's beauty if we go through our days with a right heart attitude.
God's creation with all four season's is magnificent
and each season has a purpose that unfolds amazing beauty
for our everyday enjoyment.
Thank you God!

"To every thing there is a season,
and a time to every purpose
under the heaven."
~ Ecclesiastes 3:1 ~

There is One who keeps the world (and our lives) in order,
that is God.
He is the One who causes all things to happen in their "seasons"
and gives everything a "purpose".
I see the season's changing in my own life.
With much quiet time and prayer with the Lord,
and contemplating over a few of my own personal reasons
I have come to the decision of not continuing with my Blog.
It will be a change for sure, but I believe God has a purpose
for my stepping away ~ from the computer especially.
This month marks three months short of six years when I wrote my first post here
and it was such a huge step for me!
I sincerely believe that God directed me to Blogging
and had a purpose for my life with this Blog, at that time for certain.
God has certainly been the center of each posting,
all 201 postings infact. 😊
Having this Blog has allowed me to share with so many of you
my love for Jesus and it has been pure joy!
I have met and made some wonderful friends establishing
some very beautiful friendships that I pray will continue
outside of this Blogging community.
While I will not be posting, I will continue to leave my Blog live
allowing God to use the postings He has faithfully guided me to share
in the hearts of those who may visit here.
My prayer is that readers will be blessed as they visit.
I see God taking me in a different direction now
and while I'm one who tries to do it all, I just can't, and God knows I can't;
therefore His plans and His purpose for me, are changing.

Thank you, for faithfully following, visiting and connecting
with me through your most delightful comments.
You have been awesome!
These last six years with my Blog have changed my life
in more ways than one, and ALL my praise goes to God!
"Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises
unto our God; for it is pleasant
and praise is comely {beautiful}."
While I'm looking to spend my time going down different avenues,
you may very well see a visit from me from time to time as I know I'm going
to want to swing by and see not only YOU, but your beauty.

Each season has a joy it brings and with it's own song it sings ~
Each season represents a new cycle of life
as a reminder of God's loving grace.
God is so good to us!
As we allow Him into our lives, He will guide us lovingly,
step by step in the direction and down the paths
He has precisely chosen for each and every one of us.
God's purpose and plan for our lives is always for our very best!
Thank you God, for Your love towards us!

Joy!
Debbie

I will miss you, Debbie, but I can totally understand. God leads us down different paths at different times in our lives.

In my nearly 14 years of blogging, I have stepped away several times. I have always thought the backing away would be permanent and have deleted my blogs, and then a year or 2 later, I return to blogging and wish my blog was still there. I'm glad you will be keeping your blog, even if you won't be writing on it.

May God bless you abundantly in this new season of life, as you step out in obedience to what he has put upon your heart.

Love,
Patti

Happy New Year, Deborah.

I'm sorry to hear that you're going to stop blogging, but I'm glad that you're keeping the old posts up. One of the things I like about blogs (over social media) is that you can access archived content.

I'm sure our paths will cross again!

I am sorry to hear that you are going to discontinue your blog. I do understand, however, and will be praying for you as you pursue whatever direction the Lord is leading you into. Please at least give us an update or something so we will know what you are up to! We will be missing you, but know that God has good plans for your life and He will still be using your gift of writing and sharing His love with others in one way or another. God bless you, and thank you for being a part of my life here the past couple of years that I have known you.

Hi Debbie,
you have put both lovely pics and good writing on your blog and it is good that you leave it on for others to read. I love winter too, it is a season where new life is forming within the plants, even though we often do not see it until the spring. May the new life that our Lord is forming within you blossom as we go into the Spring, and may whatever He brings you to do blossom abundantly.
God bless you for your sharing.

Dear Debbie, I am so sadden to read that you will not be blogging, but I am so thankful to have met you through your writings, and of your beautiful photos. I know that God used you so many times to bring encouragement and that you have been a voice of hope to so many, I am one of those.
I am happy you will be leaving your blog up, for us to come and and be refreshed and there will be many who will visit for the first time, thus your voice will continue to proclaim your love for the Lord and for all who read!

Dearest Debbie, most of us do not like Change but I have found that most often, change is needed. When God ordains the change then I know that He has a reason and a plan. Your blog has served as an awesome avenue to sharing the love of Jesus. Your blog post has not been done in vain I can assure you. I will miss your posts. I will miss you. But, I too know that some things need to change in our lives and when we fully surrender those things to the Lord we ofte wonder...why did I wait so long. Love you sweet lady. Please send me your mailing address. (email-creationsbycindy@nefcom.net) Hugs and blessings to you and Happy 2020. May God richly bless you above and beyond.

Debbie, I wasn't sure how long you'd been blogging. I think I found your blog a few years ago through your daughter's blog. Sorry to see you stop, but I do understand. And I'm glad you're going to leave it up (and might even post once in a while if the mood strikes?). My 10th blogiversary is this month, and I've done lots of thinking about it and just posted "An Announcement." I hope you'll read it and give me your feedback.

Hi dear sweet sis, well wasn’t well last month so doing some catch up, and found your post in my neglected email.
I was very sad to read you were going to cease blogging.

I did wonder if you’re well, and maybe that’s why.. however have noticed blogging isn’t as popular as it once was too... more Instant with Instagram and FB these days.

In spite of my wondering I know you’re following the LORD in this and know too the Lord’s way is best!
And so wise to follow His lead in all things. May God bless and keep all your family,

Thanks for being a blessing over a long period now, and sorry I didn’t comment more, and I pray earnestly that God will bless you too.
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x 😊

Little did you know then how important your newly found time for prayer would be - with Covid right around the corner.

This year has been just awful. I am glad to know you are such a strong prayer warrior. We need them now more than ever!

I miss you - just wanted to say hi, and let you know you are thought of often.

Big hugs. And a ton of prayers.

Thanks for your wonderful blog all these years.
