Living Water ~

"On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying,
If anyone thirst, let him come unto Me and drink.
He that believes on ME, as the Scripture has said,
out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. "
* John 7: 37,38 *

Anyone who thirsts can come to Jesus and drink

Jesus quenches every thirst

He is knowledge to the thirsty mind ~
Love to the thirsty heart ~
Peace to the thirsty conscience ~
Holiness to the thirsty spirit ~
"Ho, every one that thirsts, come ye to the waters"
* Isaiah 55:1 *

Yes- and sometimes we need to create that thirst and allow time to refresh ourselves rather than do other things. Lovely post, Debbie.xo

It is such a grateful feeling of comfort to me to know that our Father in heaven loves each one of us so much, and not one day goes by that he forgets to bless me :)

A beautiful post. Thank you for sharing God's Word. One of my favorite songs is 'Let all the thirsty come, let all who long for living water find it in God's Son."

Sweet words Debbie, yes, go to that source (Jesus) and drink of the Living Water.
We need that so much.

Sweet words that we all need to hear. Beautiful pictures of these water sources, but we have had so much rain that I truly dislike water at the moment. LOL! Jesus is the drink that we need.

Oh Debbie, I just had to go and get a drink of water after reading this post, it made me physically thirsty, and thankful to know that my spiritual thirst can be quenched in Him too! Such beautiful pictures you shared, and how wonderful to know that whatever we "thirst" for, He can quench! In HIM all our needs are supplied! Such a powerful and beautiful post written from your heart. I saw the video Dianne made of this post, and it was truly beautiful. I'm so happy you are getting away for some relaxation, and pray that your trip will be full of blessings and the joy of the Lord, and that your travels are safe and blessed. With many hugs and much love to you today!
