prayer Up~ Date

Hello sweet and faithful followers!
I can't help but think of each one of you
in so many parts of the world
on your knees in prayer for
my father Don, and my family.
As my mother and I were leaving the hospital
late last night I said to mom,
"you know, there are other parts of the world
where it is now day and those living
there will be in prayer now as we rest
through the night. We have around the
clock prayer worries on their knees for us."
That was a comfort my dear friends.

~~~**~~~
As of 8:00 this morning dad is doing well.
I spoke to dad's night nurse and this was the latest.
Dad is responding to command by head shakes
and a gentle squeeze of the hand. That's good!
The bleeding has slowed down to 24%
from 300% every 15 min from right after the surgery. That's good!
His blood pressure is not taking on its own yet
with out medication, though he assured
me it should.
He still has the respirator and is heavily sedated.
Basically he is still in recovery
and a day late.
God has been good and gracious.
~~~**~~~

Mom and I slept very good last. night
wrapped in the arms of our Jesus,
and comforted by your prayers.
I am finding it hard to up date
and respond to comments with just my phone,
so my dear Stephanie over at
http://theenchantingrose.blogspot.com
Will be posting up dates on dad.
She is a jewel, Thank you my dear!
Bless you all for everything!
I will be staying longer in Arizona
and then, Lord willing, my husband
and I have plans to go to Canada.
I'll be back...
Love you all dearly.

~~~**~~~
Previous Heavenly Father.
Thank you for these dear followers
who have prayed and prayed
for us, bless them greatly for their love.
Thank you for the great report on dad,
may You continue to heal his body
bringing him up to speed
for your glory and propose.
Praise you Jesus!
Amen
Dad's Surgery Up~ Date
As promised I said I would send out an up~ date
on dad's surgery.
Seven hours in surgery and everything went well.
Dad had some bleeding so He was
in an hour longer, but all is good now.
Praise the Lord!!!
I am amazed how the doctor can
preform this kind of surgery
and still keep the heart going.
Technology is something else.
Thank you dear friends for praying all day.
I love you!
~~~**~~~

Early in the morning I will arise
and call upon the name of the Lord,
lifting my requests up to the God of all creation,
who loves and cares for His own
in every circumstance that unfolds.
Oh what peace we have in the presence
of an All Mighty God!

~~~**~~~
This past week has been a period of waiting
in God's perfect waiting room
for many of us.
I may be here in Arizona with my parents,
 but others who are spread out
and couldn't be here have waited just the same.
Your faithful prayers have sustained
each and every one of us.
Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough.
You have been faithful in praying,
in messaging, and being concerned for
someone you don't even know.
I can't even write this without shedding
tears of great joy and gratitude.
Bless you ALL from the bottom of my heart!
This winter my dad's health has plummeted
with many health issues.
This is the third time this winter
 I've flown to Arizona
to be with them, and praise the Lord I could.
But I believe God has been and is doing
a tremendous amount of work
to bring my dear dad up to speed.
God's ways are absolutely perfect
and He knows exactly what He is doing.
It is our place to trust Him
in all that happens
and live each moment of the day
guided by the Scriptures.
~~~**~~~

Yesterday was a busy day with all the pre opp.
It seems since we found out
that dad was to have the surgery
everything turned up side down,
nothing happened as we were told it would.
One thing after another ended in disappointment.
Yet, I knew God's hand was there
and I continued to hold tight
to the Scriptures and my Heavenly Father.
As I was waiting for the valet to get our car
after the day was finishet
there was a truck sitting at the valet
with these words on the front plates.
"When all else fails follow the scriptures"
This was God's confirmation to me
that I was doing just what He wants me to do.
I stand amazed at His goodness!

~~~**~~~
"I will offer to thee the sacrifice
of thanksgiving,
and will call upon the name of the Lord."
(Psalm 116:17)
~~~**~~~

In all things God wants us to have a thankful heart.
Through everything that has taken place
 with my dad I have thanked Him for it,
because I know and believe
He has had His hand in every detail.
God wants only our best,
and looking through the eyes of the world
things look dim and bleak,
but through the eyes of God,
all will be well.
Praise His Holy Name!

~~~**~~~
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for these many souls
who have loved us through their prayers.
They have carried our burdens
along side of us
and encouraged us as a family
in ways that glorify You.
Bless them Father.
We praise your name and thank you
for dad's good report.
Amen
To God be the Glory!
Happy Mother's Day
I
Right now,
here in Arizona the desert is blooming
with flowers everywhere.
The cactus is amazing with all
it's new growth and flowering blossoms.
Even the desert is alive with
new growth in spring time.
I have seen flowers in colors from
reds~ yellows~ whites~ purples and
gorgeous pinks but this orange flower
has captured my heart.
Isn't this a real beauty?!
It has a ways to go to finish out its bloom
but I wanted to share it with you
for Mother's Day.
~~~**~~~

As many of you know, I'm away right now
with my parents in Arizona
awaiting my father's triple by pass surgery
scheduled for the 12th.
The Lord has gifted me in His beauty
with so many delightful flowing plants
as I take my daily walkes.
Oh the wonderful love of my Savior,
as I surround myself in the beauty of my Lord.

~~~**~~~
"I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually
be in my mouth.
My soul shall make her boast
in the Lord:
The humble shall hear thereof,
and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together."
(Psalm 34 1-3)
~
Let us exalt and magnify our Lord together!
~~~**~~~

I wasn't able to get my mother's Day post up
and I didn't want the day to slip by
with out wishing all you Dear mother's
a blessed Happy Day.
May your day be glorious in every way.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

~~~**~~~
Dear Heavenly Father,
shower Your blessings upon every mother.
Give them a day filled with joy
laughter and love
for all they have given as a mother.
In Your honor, we magnify and exalt Your name.
Amen
Joy!
prayer ~ Up Date
"Don't worry about tomorrow
God is already there"
~~**~~
I was at Hobby Lobby picking up those
cute little jewelry zip lock baggies so we could
carry extra medications with us for my dad.
I saw this on a plaque and felt like
it was God reassuring me that tomorrow
and the days ahead are all taken care of.
"Fret not thyself Debbie"
was the verse that entered my mind.
We've been in God's waiting room
and wondering each day
what tomorrow will bring.
Toby our cat & Lakota our rabbit
Our two precious pets
I thought you would like to meet
A bit of my family.
Looks like my dear hubby is taking very good
care of them while I'm away.
He surprised me with this photo.
~~**~~
"Wait on the Lord; be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart.
Wait I say on the Lord."
(Psalm 27:14)
~~**~~
The Lord is good, all the time and in all things!
We finally heard from the heart specialist
and dad's surgery has been scheduled for
Tuesday the 12th at 8:30 am.
Our hearts are relieved.
We have a week in waiting
and I would ask that you pray for strength
for dad as he's quite weak
and feels sick pretty much all the time.
I covet your prayers!
I want to say thank you for your
genuine love and concern for my dad
and the rest of my family.
Your love reflects Christ in you.
God bless you.
~~**~~
Isn't it wonderful to know
that God is already ahead of us
in every area and aspect of our lives?
We can have peace in our hearts
while waiting on the Lord,
and we can trust Him completely
with every detail of our lives.
Each day I am standing on the
promises of His Word,
and life is good!
~~**~~
Dear Precious Heavenly Father,
thank you for looking after
our lives and all that comes our way.
Cause us to praise You
in everything.
Amen
Blessings
prayer ~ Up Date
Hello my dear and sweet friends.
Thank you for your precious
Comments and visits,
Oh you are such a huge blessing to my heart!
~
I arrived safely after 6 hours  of God and I
time waiting in the air port
due to thunderstorms and delayed flights.
I received  My lost luggage a day late.
I believe God was showing me
that little is okay.
I went to church in the same outfit I wore all day
the day before, that's huge for me!
~
I want to extend my gratitude
for your prayers on behalf
of my father. The surgery has been delayed
and were hoping it will take place
either Tuesday or Wednesday.
This heart specialist is extremely busy.
~
God's perfect timing
And I rest in that.
I have only my phone, no computer,
So I'll just quickly post up dates.
I'm not real sure technically
how to do any more than that. Lol :)
~
Bless you all for your love.
Away From my Blog
"Prayer is no fitful, short-lived thing,
it is no voice unheard and unheeded
in the silence. It is a voice which goes into
God's ear, and it lives as long as God's ear
is open to holy pleas, as long as God's heart
is alive to holy things.
God shapes the world by prayer."
~ E.M. Bounds ~
 I want to thank those of you, Dear friends,
for the prayers you have lifted
on behalf of my parents, especially my father
and his health issues.
On Monday morning the 4th
my father will be having open heart/by-pass surgery.
 ~
"Grant that I may not pray alone with the mouth;
help me that I may pray from the depths of my heart."
~ Martin Luther ~
~
There is peace with-in our hearts
just knowing others are on their knees
in prayer when the needs arise.
I know you will be praying,
and from the sincerity of my heart, thank you!
~
I will be spending some time with my parents
so I will not be posting.
I will be getting my messages, so please feel free
to contact me if you would like.
Should time allow, I will pop my head in
and try to say hello.
~~~***~~~

"And in that day you will ask Me nothing.
Most assuredly, I say to you,
whatever you ask the Father in My name,
He will give you."
(John 16:23)
Amen

Joy!
