Reflection Time ~

Hello dear and faithful friends!
I'm going to be taking some time off indefinitely from my blog posts.
My husband and I will be traveling and I do not wish
to think about the computer while enjoying those relaxing days,
 so this is a good time to step back for some much needed time
to reflect on some things that have been tugging at my heart strings.
Sometimes it can be difficult hearing the voice of the Lord
through the noise that surrounds our lives and I need to stop and listen
to what the Lord is trying to say to me in some areas of my life.
I don't know about you, but I'm  finding that social media has a way of
taking hold of the hours in my day, it's not all bad, just time consuming.
Through God's Word and His gentle leading
I will be taking some time for reflection.
Lately I've been pondering on Psalm 23, mostly verses 1~3
~~~~
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousnes.
For His name's sake.
~~~~
Jehovah-Rohi, meaning The Lord my Shepherd.
The Lord, my Shepherd, cares for me in every aspect of my life,
His loving, protective care is perfect in every way
and I know that as I take this time for reflecting on some issues at hand
He will lead me to a place of sustenance and rest, beside still waters,
where at peace I will find answers and direction.
With a heart of gratitude I would like to say thank you
for your precious friendship and faithfulness
as you have so graciously blessed my life through this Blog.
Thank You Jesus!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY LOVELY LADIES

Praising my Jesus!

I wish you and your husband a joy-filled time traveling. (Is Donatella going with you?)

I totally understand what you are saying about social media. As one who remembers adult life away from the distraction of social media, I had a yearning to get back to those days, so I took a blog break myself.

Blessings,

What a wise lady you are for taking time away from the noise of this world to reflect on Him. We all get so involved in the things that consume our time and need a relaxing time to rest in Him who loves us more than we love ourselves. Bless you during your time away but we will miss you. Hugs.

Debbie, although I will miss your posts, I must say that I am in awe of your obedience to the Lord's tugging. I will absolutely agree with you that blogging and other forms of social media can certainly take up way more time in our lives than we should allow it to....I know this is true for me. Thank you for the inspiration! I pray that you and your husband have some wonderful adventures and that you will return one day sooner than later to tell us all about them! Hugs and much love to you, dear friend!

Happy Mother's Day, sweet friend! I hope you have a wonderful time traveling and spending that precious time with your husband! Oh, my, I know what you mean. This is one of the main reasons I will not succumb to being on facebook. There are so many voices in our world that are clamoring for our attention, and it takes a real, concentrated effort to get alone with God in order to hear His still, small voice. I trust you will find Him in the quiet places and find the answers you seek. Sending love and hugs your way!

A time of reflection with the Word, who was made flesh and now resides in those who believe Him and received His Spirit.
For the edification of your lady's friends (sisters in the Lord) I'm sharing some this short show ~ inspired by your 'Living Water' posting. May God bless the hearts and minds who view it, as He wills.
- Since the comment section doesn't allow for this show to be open here, I'm providing my blog page that displays it a bit nicer than utube: http://blog-ability.blogspot.com/2017/05/rejoicing-in-god-goodness.html Thanks Debbie for the lovely material to work with and sharing it here!
(Viewable on utube: https://youtu.be/a0tdCF7ZsdA)
Blessed and safe trip for you and your hubby in the Lord Christ Jesus' protection and Grace.
