Lake Huron Sunsets

"This is the day which the Lord has made,
I WILL rejoice and be glad in it."
Each and every day is as beautiful as we allow it to be.
I trust you are enjoying your days and rejoicing in the Lord?
~~**~~
Hello sweet and dear friends!
My last post was a small re-cap of our vacation in Canada
through the lens of our camera.
Some of you wrote to me personally sharing your enjoyment
of the sunset photos and so I thought why not share some of the
beauty my husband and I have captured on the shores
of Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada over the past few years.
Lake Huron has some amazing sunsets.

  God in His Majesty,
shines forth in each and every photo that I am sharing with you.
~~**~~
"The glory of the Lord shall endure forever:
the Lord shall rejoice in His works."
(Psalm 104:31)

"Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant
thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun."
(Ecclesiastes 11:7)

"Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God,
thou art very great; thou art clothed
with honor and majesty."
(Psalm 104:1)

"Who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment:
who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain."
(Psalm 104:2)

"Who laid the foundations of the earth
that it should not be removed forever.
Thou coveredst it with the deep as with the garment:
the waters stood above the mountains."
(Psalm 104:5-6)

"There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom
thou hast made to play therein."
(Psalm 104:26)

"Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters:
who maketh the clouds his chariot:
who walketh upon the wings of the wind."
(Psalm 104:3)

"My meditation of Him shall be sweet,
I will be glad in the Lord.
I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live:
I will sing praise to my God
while I have my being."
(Psalm 104:33&34)
Let this be our prayer
Amen.

Glory to God!

Awesome photos. I especially like the last one of the lighthouse just before the sun sets.

Here in Michigan, we are surrounded by the Great Lakes and have access to all of them! Where we live there is a lake in every direction as close as our backyard! We can sit and dream by a lake every day if we choose. To me the lakes are fresh, clear, clean and sometime so massive, they look like the sea and just as dangerous. However, the beauty of the lakes are beyond belief! I know your trip was wonderful! We are planning on going to Lake Huron in the next few weeks for a day trip. I love stopping off at a lookout, and climbing down an embankment and then jumping into the ice cold lake for a quick dip!!
Your pictures are amazing, Debbie! So beautiful!

Oh, Debbie! Lake Huron. I recall these sights from the other side, Lexington, Michigan, where I grew up.

This was lovely to see on your blog this morning! :)

As breathtaking as your collection is, I think all of us have ourselves been, at least once, in a place where the simple majestic beauty of the earthly home God created for our enjoyment "blew us away!" Last week, on the highway, I looked up and witnessed the most stunning sunlit cloud formations. The scene took me out of my day-to-day concerns and forced me to contemplate the first part of "what God has created for those who love him!"

Oh, Debbie, the photos are amazing! I am so enthralled by the sunsets, and I especially love the ones with the lighthouse. When we think that this beauty is just but a "taste" -- a mere morsel -- of what heaven will be like, I am in awe and wonder. What a beautiful place to spend your vacation time in Canada, and I'm so glad you've shared these. They are so beautiful! And thank, as always, for sharing the wonderful Scripture verses and praise! Much love, precious friend! xoxo
