Happy Mother's Day

Right now,
here in Arizona the desert is blooming
with flowers everywhere.
The cactus is amazing with all
it's new growth and flowering blossoms.
Even the desert is alive with
new growth in spring time.
I have seen flowers in colors from
reds~ yellows~ whites~ purples and
gorgeous pinks but this orange flower
has captured my heart.
Isn't this a real beauty?!
It has a ways to go to finish out its bloom
but I wanted to share it with you
for Mother's Day.

As many of you know, I'm away right now
with my parents in Arizona
awaiting my father's triple by pass surgery
scheduled for the 12th.
The Lord has gifted me in His beauty
with so many delightful flowing plants
as I take my daily walkes.
Oh the wonderful love of my Savior,
as I surround myself in the beauty of my Lord.

"I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually
be in my mouth.
My soul shall make her boast
in the Lord:
The humble shall hear thereof,
and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together."
(Psalm 34 1-3)
Let us exalt and magnify our Lord together!

I wasn't able to get my mother's Day post up
and I didn't want the day to slip by
with out wishing all you Dear mother's
a blessed Happy Day.
May your day be glorious in every way.

Dear Heavenly Father,
shower Your blessings upon every mother.
Give them a day filled with joy
laughter and love
for all they have given as a mother.
In Your honor, we magnify and exalt Your name.

~ Debbie~

Dear Debbie...what a sweet Mother's Day blessing and prayer! The orange flower is so very stunning...I can certainly understand how it has captivated you. I have never been to a desert before but I know, like you, I would be capturing the beauty of the Lord's creation too! I will certainly continue my prayers for your dad's surgery, you and your family as you are there with him. Happy Mother's Day!

Ah beauty of the flower, of Gods creation (looks like a poinciana flower??) and as surely as our Father clothes the lily of the field will He also not care for us.. And our very dear ones.

Do feel for you dear Debbie as my dad has gone down that path, had bypass thruteen years ago. He is now recovering from very bad heart/lung issues, terminal .... But manageable at the moment.
..but he does not know the LORD, that is what makes me the saddest, praying...trusting the LORD for that in His way.
Pray for all care to be God controlled dear sis.

What a beautiful flower, I agree its beauty is so different from many of the other colors normally seen! Glad that the Lord is continuing to bless and encourage your heart in small ways until your dad's bypass takes place. Will continue to pray that the Lord blesses and takes care of each of you through it all!
