Dad's Surgery Up~ Date

As promised I said I would send out an up~ date
on dad's surgery.
Seven hours in surgery and everything went well.
Dad had some bleeding so He was
in an hour longer, but all is good now.
Praise the Lord!!!
I am amazed how the doctor can
preform this kind of surgery
and still keep the heart going.
Technology is something else.
Thank you dear friends for praying all day.
I love you!

~~~**~~~
Early in the morning I will arise
and call upon the name of the Lord,
lifting my requests up to the God of all creation,
who loves and cares for His own
in every circumstance that unfolds.
Oh what peace we have in the presence
of an All Mighty God!
~~~**~~~

This past week has been a period of waiting
in God's perfect waiting room
for many of us.
I may be here in Arizona with my parents,
 but others who are spread out
and couldn't be here have waited just the same.
Your faithful prayers have sustained
each and every one of us.
Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough.
You have been faithful in praying,
in messaging, and being concerned for
someone you don't even know.
I can't even write this without shedding
tears of great joy and gratitude.
Bless you ALL from the bottom of my heart!

This winter my dad's health has plummeted
with many health issues.
This is the third time this winter
 I've flown to Arizona
to be with them, and praise the Lord I could.
But I believe God has been and is doing
a tremendous amount of work
to bring my dear dad up to speed.
God's ways are absolutely perfect
and He knows exactly what He is doing.
It is our place to trust Him
in all that happens
and live each moment of the day
guided by the Scriptures.

~~~**~~~
Yesterday was a busy day with all the pre opp.
It seems since we found out
that dad was to have the surgery
everything turned up side down,
nothing happened as we were told it would.
One thing after another ended in disappointment.
Yet, I knew God's hand was there
and I continued to hold tight
to the Scriptures and my Heavenly Father.
As I was waiting for the valet to get our car
after the day was finishet
there was a truck sitting at the valet
with these words on the front plates.
"When all else fails follow the scriptures"
This was God's confirmation to me
that I was doing just what He wants me to do.
I stand amazed at His goodness!
~~~**~~~

"I will offer to thee the sacrifice
of thanksgiving,
and will call upon the name of the Lord."
(Psalm 116:17)

~~~**~~~
In all things God wants us to have a thankful heart.
Through everything that has taken place
 with my dad I have thanked Him for it,
because I know and believe
He has had His hand in every detail.
God wants only our best,
and looking through the eyes of the world
things look dim and bleak,
but through the eyes of God,
all will be well.
Praise His Holy Name!
~~~**~~~

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for these many souls
who have loved us through their prayers.
They have carried our burdens
along side of us
and encouraged us as a family
in ways that glorify You.
Bless them Father.
We praise your name and thank you
for dad's good report.
Amen

To God be the Glory!
~ Debbie~
