All Creation Glorifies God

Hello!
  Dear gracious and faithful followers,
both my husband and I
would like to thank you for your
sweet and precious Anniversary wishes
that you sent our way.
Our hearts were blessed by your love and kindness.
 For some of you, welcome as new followers,
and thank you for your wishes too.

~~~***~~~
All creation glorifies God!
For our wedding Anniversary, my husband and I
took a few days and spent time
surrounded by God's amazing beauty
in some National Parks.
As we visited these parks in all their beauty,
scripture as well as certain hymns
would fall upon my heart and mind ~
you couldn't help but sing praises
to God, the Creator, with joy in your heart.
This rock formation looks like two kissing,
why she even has hair on her head and a bow on her dress
We were awe struck as we either
drove or hiked through the masses
of rock formations.
Such uniqueness with every bend
we would come around.
"To God be the glory"
would come forth from our lips time after time,
 it was just amazing!
We took close to 1000 pictures
and I would love to share just a small glimpse
of our beautiful get-away with you.
~~~***~~~

We started in Moab Utah on a cold and snowy day.
We thought we were heading
into warmer weather, but God who controls
the weather treated us to some snow, hail, rain,
thunderstorms, cold winds and then some
warmth and sunshine on our last day.
Oh how easy it would have been to grumble,
but instead we saw the goodness of God.

We stayed in a warm and cozy cabin ~ sat on the heater
of the van after every wet and cold hike ~
played in the water puddles and sang in the rain ~
praising God in it all!
We chose to see the beauty in the weather, and we certainly did!
The wet weather made everything
come alive with vibrant colors.

~~~***~~~
Dead Horse Point, with the low clouds
snow/hail and thunderstorms
was breathtaking!
The flowers and trees were vivid in color.
The rocks and arches displayed their beauty with the rain showers.
The mountains with fresh snow off in the distance
made the canyon lands all the more glorious.
The cloud cover allowed us to photo areas
that would have otherwise been washed out.
Bryce Canyon
And while hiking these were the words of my husband,
"well at least were not sweating."
Boy was he right there!
Actually, by the time we reached our cozy cabin
I was chilled to the bone.
Awww... warmth in a hot bubble bath...
 Part of the hiking trail around the rim of Bryce Canyon
Steep switch-backs as part of the hiking trail.
The switch backs were stacked like stairs
because of how steep it was.
Quite amazing!
I was reminded of Psalm 148
where all creation is to praise God.
We were surrounded by God's glory
and we couldn't help but praise His Holy Name!
~~~***~~~

"Let them praise the name of the Lord:
for his name alone is excellent;
his glory is above the earth and the heaven."
Amen.

To God be the Glory!
~ Debbie ~

Looks like the remains of a heart

Good morning Debbie,
These are beautiful photos! I just showed them to my husband! We hope to make a trip out that way ourselves. It is hard not to feel God's presence when surrounded by so much natural beauty. That is exactly how I feel by the ocean!

It appears that you had a wonderful time together celebrating your anniversary! So happy for you both!

Congrats again!

Leave it to nature to remind us who we are, who He is.....to be still in the presence of the grandest art we could ever lay our eyes on, and to imagine that no eye has ever seen what God has prepared for those who love Him. Awesome photos and I am so glad you enjoyed yourselves! Love, Anita

Awww what a wonderful way to spend your anniversary time together. My late beloved and I loved to hike. We visited Rocky Mountain National Park several years ago and hiked so many of the trails. What a beautiful state you live in, Debbie. We never visited Moab, but your photos are stunning. I loved the kissing formations and the heart. Enjoy those times together, my friend.

Such amazing beauty. And I bet that bubble bath was divine.

So happy to be visiting your beautiful blog today, my friend! :) It has been too long since I have had a chance to and to comment. What a blessing of a trip! So glad y'all had a wonderful time enjoying the glorious riches of the Lord's creation. I am so enthralled by your breathtaking photos- you have such an eye for photography scenery :) My favorite was the low mistiness hanging over the canyon.

Beautiful! I got a calendar this year of Bryce Canyon and have been wanting to go so bad, and after seeing your photos I want to go even more now.

Blessings and hugs to you!

Oh my, Debbie!! Your pictures are breathtaking! So true that nature's beauty shines through after the rain and you captured it beautifully.
I love your spirit and it sounds like you turned your rainy adventure into some very special memories. That's how we must live our life, isn't it? There's so much to be grateful for that a little cold and rain can't dampen it :)
You're a beautiful person, my friend. Love and hugs to you.

Hello,I came here on the recommendation of Celestina. Your photos are amazingly beautiful, and your words are fall like creamy caramel! LOL! That is what came to mind! I am ashamed to say that we have had horrible cold, rainy, sleet weather here in Michigan and all I did was moan and groan about it. I could take a lesson from you about appreciating everything God sends our way. I will be back to read more..lovely blog. ginny

Good evening Debbie. Thank you from the heart for fining me and coming to see me and giving me the love you felt rightly, as it turns out, that I needed. Both for my friend Beth's sake as I grieve already for he,r and for myself as I work and pray regarding mine and a family members situation each day. It is always like brilliant burst of warm light and love when I find another serious and dedicated Christian. Means the world to me. I would love to surround myself solely with them but that is not the way of The Lord. He wants us to shine His light among the needy and lost. Not loll in the perfection of Christian brotherhood only. :-)

So I will thank you again for the visit and the love for I know you are completely sincere.
