Sincerely from your heart ~ Rejoice

Sincerely, from your heart rejoice in the Lord
and forget not His benefits throughout the year.
Our God is a Great God and deserves our heartfelt
praise for all He does for us.

~ ~ ♡ ♡ ♡ ~ ~ ♡ ♡ ♡ ~ ~

"Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice
of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips,
giving thanks to His name."
~ Hebrews 13:15 ~

In the Old Testament ~ Hosea 14:2 speaks of God's people
offering Him "the sacrifices of [their] lips"
in contrast to the animal sacrifices under the Old Covenant system.
As Christians we now offer sacrifices of praise and worship to God.
Whatever season awaits you outdoors where our loving God
has placed you ~ be it a gorgeous autumn afternoon ~ a day blanketed
in beautiful white snow ~ a bright spring day ~ or a hot summer afternoon ~
everyday is a day of Thanksgiving.
Because those of us who love God, it is!

"I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples.
And I will sing praises to You among the nation's."
~ Psalm 108:3 ~

"But I will sacrifice to You
With the voice of Thanksgiving
I will pay what I have vowed
Salvation is of the Lord."
~ Jonah 2:9 ~

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
~ 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 ~

"For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the humble with salvation.
Let the saints be joyful in glory;
Let them sing aloud on their beds.
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth."
~ Psalm 149 4-8 ~

Heavenly Father,
Give us a heart to rejoice always, pray continually
and give thanks daily for Your goodness to us.
Amen and Amen.

Joy!
Debbie

The photos were taken last week when we received 7 1/2 inches of snow
I have so enjoying my new camera
capturing some of God's beauty close to home.
Friends, have a most glorious day and be blessed!

How beautiful are your photos of the breathtaking beauty with you. In our flat country everything is still green, but rain almost every day. Fortunately it's not cold.
Have a blessed week.♥

Monday Blessings to you Debbie, Oh the glory of His creation. Love your photos-you live in a beautiful area!
It has been so beautiful yesterday and today; praising Him for warmth and although we know the weather will continue to get colder, I'm cherishing every fall day we have.
Sending love to you in the mountains.

Beautiful photos and wonderful scripture about being thankful at all times. Hot and steamy down here in s.e. FL. Your snow looks so cool and refreshing. Happy Autumn ~ FlowerLady

Your pictures and words are both wonderful. Yes, there is always something to be thankful for. Around here we have just come through a huge and early snow storm, that h
left a lot of us without power for a while. Still in all of this, having to bunk in with neighbours and friends and all being disrupted,I still praise God for His protection and care.

Hi Debbie, it's been ages since I've been by, as I have been on an extended blog break. Said break is now over, and since I deleted Joy in the Middle, I have made my formerly private blog a public one. It's called This Beautiful Life, and I have been writing on it since 2006. Please stop by if you have a minute. (Get there through my Blogger profile)

About thankfulness...it was way back in 2004, when my husband was less than a year into what turned out to be 25 months of unemployment, that the Lord prompted me to be purposeful about giving him a "sacrifice of praise." It was a bleak time, yet by being thankful, our perspective changed, and we saw God's hand in amazing ways.

Blessings,
Patti Gardner

Oh! Debbie, so beautiful both the Bible verses, and your photos, I agree, everyday should be a day of giving thanks for our many blessings. Enjoy your new camera, the photos of your area are so breathtaking, thank you for sharing.

I wanted to come back and tell you how much your last post spoke to my heart, I adored every photo especially Cherry Delight truck. We once had a rabbit she was so precious, Donatello is adorable, I miss our Jack so much, he was my faithful companion.

Like you I love pumpkin pie, whoever pared those spices together for seasoning did a great job!

Your home is so cozy and inviting. I miss having wood burning in the fireplace, when we built our home my dh decided on gas logs but we had the fireplace built for logs, just in case that was a good compromise for me. ~wink~
What a great way for me to start my day with this visit.
Blessings,
Sue

Hi Debbie, I enjoy winter, I am so happy you shared your snow photos. We had a little snow in October, but not much. Our ground is not froze, so nothing will stay, but it is a pretty sight.
Thank you for sharing scripture as well. It does my heart good.
Love, Carla
