Taking A Break

~ Psalm 96 ~
"O sing unto the Lord a new song; sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; show forth his salvation from day to day."

"Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among the people.
For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised;
he is to be feared above all gods."

"For all the gods of the nations are idols; but the Lord made the heavens.
Honor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary."

"Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
Give unto the Lord glory due unto his name;
bring an offering and come into his courts."

"O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; fear before him all the earth.
Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth;
the world shall also be established that it shall not be moved;
he shall judge the people righteously."

"Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein; then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice.
Before the Lord; for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth:
he shall judge the world with righteousness,
and the people with the truth."

 As the Lord and I walked and talked
on this beautiful Autumn day,
I was reminded of His love and care
over every aspect of life.
Right now I have many irons in the fire
and the Lord has gently whispered...
Take a break, Debbie.
I'm going to do just that, dear followers.
I will be absent from our sweet blogging community,
but plan to visit and enjoy Stephanie's
tea cup & mug exchange party this month.
My photos and revealing will be on Stephanie's blog.

"Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest."
Thank you Heavenly Father,
that we may come to You, and find rest for our weary souls.
Your Word tells us that Your yolk is easy,
and Your burden is light,
 what  peace and comfort Your promises hold for us.
Amen.

Be Glorious!
~ Debbie ~

Yes, there are times when He calls us to rest...even more. While I will miss your posts, I know that God will refresh you and look forward to seeing your photos on Stephanie's blog. Oh mom, I am right there with you...I need a break! I feel like I just want to cry because I am overwhelmed. After the tea cup and mug party I am going to go into hiding {{smiles}}

Anyway, the break is just what you need and I know you will come back refreshed :) You will indeed be missed, but you need to take care of YOU first.

Your pictures are gorgeous! You did a phenomenal job of capturing the beauty of our mountains. I love you!

Hello Dear Debbie, I so understand how a blogging break is needed from time to time, I seem to be on a break most of the time lately, as i have been so busy with things that need doing here at home!However, I do miss my friends when I am away, I read your last post, about the visit from your grandsons,and was so blessed! It brought back so many memories of when our grandchildren visited us!
Visiting here with you is like a breath of fresh air, you are always so gracious, and encouraging! Enjoy this special time,

Your sweet beautiful poignant posts are always a blessing,but I do so understand the need to rest, and just let go of things, and concentrate on the most important needs at hand. There is always such a lucid, immediate sense of the Holy Spirit in your lovely posts, dear Debbie... I know you have been blessed with a special gift of encouragement (very much so, for me personally)... But that is partly because you invest so much of your sincere faithful heart into the writing. I will miss you oh so much, but know that you would never want to rush or write sketchy posts, and you need to recharge.
May you be blessed in your break, and I hope we'll be able to visit each other again before long.
Always you're welcome at my blog.
The mountain pictures are superb - I can almost feel the slightly crisp mountain air on my face, looking at them. Those are 'your' (local)
range of mts? Wow. I'm not surprised you can hear the Word of God there. Beautiful much love to you
