prayer Up~ Date

Hello sweet and faithful followers!
I can't help but think of each one of you
in so many parts of the world
on your knees in prayer for
my father Don, and my family.
As my mother and I were leaving the hospital
late last night I said to mom,
"you know, there are other parts of the world
where it is now day and those living
there will be in prayer now as we rest
through the night. We have around the
clock prayer worries on their knees for us."
That was a comfort my dear friends.

~~~**~~~
As of 8:00 this morning dad is doing well.
I spoke to dad's night nurse and this was the latest.
Dad is responding to command by head shakes
and a gentle squeeze of the hand. That's good!
The bleeding has slowed down to 24%
from 300% every 15 min from right after the surgery. That's good!
His blood pressure is not taking on its own yet
with out medication, though he assured
me it should.
He still has the respirator and is heavily sedated.
Basically he is still in recovery
and a day late.
God has been good and gracious.
~~~**~~~

Mom and I slept very good last. night
wrapped in the arms of our Jesus,
and comforted by your prayers.
I am finding it hard to up date
and respond to comments with just my phone,
so my dear Stephanie over at
http://theenchantingrose.blogspot.com
Will be posting up dates on dad.
She is a jewel, Thank you my dear!
Bless you all for everything!
I will be staying longer in Arizona
and then, Lord willing, my husband
and I have plans to go to Canada.
I'll be back...
Love you all dearly.

Previous Heavenly Father.
Thank you for these dear followers
who have prayed and prayed
for us, bless them greatly for their love.
Thank you for the great report on dad,
may You continue to heal his body
bringing him up to speed
for your glory and propose.
Praise you Jesus!
Amen

Blessings
~ Debbie~

Oh Debbie, it's so good to hear this update! You know, I was on my home to lunch from work earlier and I was praying for your family. I know we may never meet face to face but I almost feel like many of my blogging friends are a part of my family. How could this be so?, I asked myself...actually I asked the Lord. Instantly He reminded me that as fellow believers, we are all in this family of God together and we are to pray for each other, whether we ever meet or not! Prayers and hugs to you, my friend!

Dearest Debbie, I am so sorry to hear of your daddy's passing. My heart hurts deeply for you and your family. I was reminded of the hymn, Standing on the Promises, in that we will all stand together one day and rejoice on high. Until then, life is bittersweet and filled with grief over our loss. May you feel the peace of God as you travel this grief journey. Love and hugs, Anne
