Blessed Thankfulness

Something wonderful was taking place
while I was away caring
for my dear parents.
I received a gift of the most special
kind of love poured out through YOU, my dear friends!
That gift was the gift of sweet prayer
lifted up to God on behalf of
myself and my parents.
I felt God's hand in mine
as He reassured me that we were not alone,
that He never leaves us
and will be with us always.
I knew God's loving presence
was right there with us
every moment of every day.

My heart is rich and full of gratitude
for so many things.
For Stephanie my wonderful daughter
who graciously stepped in for me as a guest
while I was away from the computer.
She has such a willing heart
to be used of the Lord
here in our beautiful community of blogging.
She didn't know it at the time,
but her post was meant for ME.
God knew that I was in need of a reminder
to keep a song in my heart.
No matter what God dishes out onto our plates,
there will be joy found in our hearts
as we sing our way through.
Stephanie ~ thank you for having
such a sweet and tender spirit.
I love you!

I cannot forget you, my dear and sweet friends!
Thank you for your prayers, love and concern.
Words are not enough to express how
my heart rejoices.
Through your relationship with God,
you have given of yourselves
so that others would be blessed.
On behalf of my parents, thank you!

Through Stephanie and her guest post
I had some lovely new ladies visit
and even follow along.
I want to thank you and welcome you
to my little corner of the world.
{ I hope to visit you real soon}
It is my humble prayer that you ~ and all
who seek to have their hearts refreshed
through the Scriptures found here at ~
She Graces Her Home In God's Beauty
will find all that you may be seeking.
God speaks to our hearts individually
through His Word,
I am just His instrument desiring to be used
as He guides me along the path
He has set before me.
I look forward to walking God's path
with you, as you follow along.

May we rejoice in the goodness
of the greatest Gift ~ Giver of all
and in the gifts of friendship
we've been given.
" Every good and perfect gift is from above."
James 1:17

Our Precious Heavenly Father ~
You are so good to us!
Thank you for the love of friends
and for their care and concern
for what is happening in the lives of others.
May we always be mindful
of the needs around us,
and fall on our knees before Your throne of grace
giving praise and glory to You.
Amen

Joy to You!
~ Debbie ~

Oh, precious, Debbie, what joy it is that God has given us the Body of Christ to uplift and remind each other of His precious love and mercy toward us. It's such a joy to pray for each other and to know that God is always with us and with those for whom we pray. You are a treasure, and I thank you for the "refreshment" I receive here from your beautiful posts in word and photo. And thank your precious Stephanie for stepping in and posting for you. "The apple has not fallen far from the tree" in your family. God has designed and is continuing to work in each of us, and it's a joy to travel along the way with you! Continuing to pray for your dear parents and for you and the rest of your family! Hugs and love!

I just read Stephanie's post before this one (I'm a bit behind!). You too are such beautiful, lovely ladies, our blogging community is blessed by your presence.
It is such a wonderful feeling to know others are praying for us, and I'm thankful to know such women who pray.

It is always a joy and privilege to pray for a sister in Christ because it is what we are called to do to honor our Lord. It is also a personal joy to get to know you through blogging by sharing our cares and needs with each other. The family of Christ is my only family and the best family there is!

Daughters are such a blessing and you have a very special daughter. So sweet and loving....I'm sure she takes right after her beautiful Mother. I missed Stephanie's guest post, but I just read it and it is wonderful. I love that you enjoy singing and making up songs, too. I, too, love to sing and I'm sure I embarrassed my children on many an occasion when I burst into song in front of their friends! :) I know you are going through a difficult time right now, caring for your parents and also having your own health issues. Despite all of that, you find time to lift our spirits, Dear Friend. You are a blessing! Hugs xo Karen

We sure do have a blessed blogging community, especially because Stephanie is part of it! But then, she is grace personified because you raised her in the fear and admonition of the Lord, Debbie. I do hope your parents are getting along better. I've been a bit absent from visiting around but I will continue to pray for you and your family. {{hugs}}
