Joy In A Book Exchange

" May you be blessed by the Lord,
the maker of heaven and earth. "
{ Psalm 115:15 }
This was the beautiful verse on my card
that was sent with my delightful
care package from Diane
through the book exchange that was
so beautifully arranged by Stephanie at
This was Stephanie's first book exchange,
and what a wonderful way for us ladies to meet new friends.
Diane graciously blessed my heart
with three delightful gifts.
"A Woman After God's Own Heart"
By Elizabeth George
has been one of my all time favorite books
that God has used to change my heart in many ways as a woman.
I look forward to reading this
"Updated and Expanded" version.
In fact... prior to receiving my gift package from Diane,
I had nearly pulled my old tattered book
off of the book shelf to read again,
so it was the perfect book.
Diane also blessed my heart with the little book
" A Woman's Journey... With God"
By Mary Prince
A celebration of the Christian life
from childhood to maturity.
Doesn't that sound just wonderful!
Here are a few of the chapters
to give you an idea of the beauty in this little book.
*The journey of trust
*The journey of Strength
*The journey of contentment
*The journey of relationships
The work of her hands...
I received a beautiful hand stitched sachet
filled with an aroma that has left my
"little space" with a fragrance that is soft and feminine.
What a delight!
Thank you again, Diane, for your sweet kindness.
I had the joy of sending my care package to
Deborah Montgomery at
I want to thank my dear Stephanie,
for all the love and care she has put into
this wonderful book exchange.
Such a lovely idea!
Our Precious Heavenly Father,
thank you for Your goodness to us
through the lives of others.
May our hearts desire be to love others,
as long as You give us life.

~Be Lovely~

What a wonderful package from Diane! You will have to let me know how the updated version of 'A Woman After God's Own Heart is.' I know you will enjoy reading it and gleaning from its wisdom.

The sachet is so pretty and the yarn looks somewhat silky - I bet it smells delightful :)

Thanks, mom, for participating! I can always count on you to be there in support of what I do - that means more than you'll ever know.

The little one and I are coming over today after school and grocery shopping so we'll probably see you sometime after lunch. Love you

Wasn't this fun Debbie? I see Stephanie is doing a teacup exchange next week! I'm excited about joining in on that too. You received a lovely package, esp. that beautiful handmade sachet. Thank you again for your gifts to me. I'm enjoying paging through the kitchen book; it has lots of wonderful ideas!

Hi Debbie,
I sure enjoyed looking at all the lovely books 'n' stuff the ladies sent each other. At your blog and at Stephanie's. What a wonderful daughter you raised. She was a blessing in my life from the very first -and we only just met online a little while ago. Think I may have seen her on Karen's blogroll over at Beatrice Euphemie. And then I found you thru Stephanie. Isn't it lovely how good things can just multiply that way?
Amyway, hope you have a lovely weekend! :) m & jb (who is not all that happy that I brought her in -but the shadows are getting long)

What a nice package you received! I really wanted to participate in the book exchange, but it was during my busiest time of the year so I didn't. I told Stephanie I will join if she has another one though...sounds like fun! And I am a book lover...:) Have a blessed Sunday.

Hugs, Vicky

Hi Debbie,
It's Sandra from Coffee In the Word. I wanted to say thank you again for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Such a blessing! I see that you received and Elizabeth George book. I have to tell you that I have read several of her books multiple times and frequently refer to her books during my meditation times. She is such a gem, as are you! So blessed to have found Stephanie's blog and in turn found yours.
Many blessings on your day! Sandra
