Time Out

Hello Dear Friends!
With just having knee surgery
I am finding it hard to do much in the way of the computer
due to swelling in my leg that takes place
if I am off the ice or CPM  machine.
~
I tend to lean towards being a "Martha" even when I am not functioning at 100%.
I will "give it my all" regardless of the outcome!
The Lord has pressed my heart to
"Be still" and "Sit at His feet"
He is wanting me to be a "Mary", and
I'm finding it quite beautiful in this place.
Free time to read His Word,
meditate on it with no worries or hurried plans,
and draw even closer to His side
I can see why Mary "chose the better".
~
I will not be posting for a few weeks
in order to listen to the voice of
my precious Heavenly Father.
When God tugs at our hearts, we must listen and obey.
I love these times in my life,
for when God has me down, He has something wonderful and beautiful
that He is going to show me,
as well as work out in my life.
~
It's just time out, I'll be back!
~
We love you Lord,
and we lift our hearts up to You, praising Your Holy name.
For You alone, are worthy to be praised!
Amen
~
~Be Lovely~
Debbie

You will be missed, but I am so glad you are taking a time out. You need to rest and recuperate and I know when you come back you will be on fire and rearing to go! Giving you a couple of weeks to ponder what you will write about will make it so good that I will have to prepare myself! :)

You are in my prayers, mom. Love you!

P.S. Little one's first tooth is lose! I know it's just a tooth, but hubby and I are SO excited! We were both staring into his mouth this morning ooohing and ahhhing! haha :)

I am sorry to hear about your knee and will pray that you heal quickly. It is encouraging to know that you are comforted by the quiet time you can have with the Lord.

Sorry to hear you are "out of commission" Debbie. will be praying that you heal well. I was on bed rest for all my pregnancies, forced to lay still and rest. there are many blessings that come your way if you don't fret and fuss about it. I remember having to just close my eyes to the dust bunnies and tell myself I would have plenty of time to clean later. Hope that you are able to be blessed in your period of inactivity.

Debbie, I will certainly miss your beautiful posts but certainly understand why you need to take a break. I have worked in PT for many, many years and understand the importance of keeping that knee from getting stiff! Ice is most definitely your best friend right now and it sounds like you are taking very good care of yourself...you wouldn't believe the patients we see who DON'T! Blessings to you and speedy healing!

Getting better means taking time to heal. It will also be a blessed time for you too as you spend some quiet days. I'll miss your posts but understand your time away. I just took a few weeks away from my blog to get caught with life. We need to keep life in balance.

You will be in my prayers. Your words "I will not be posting for a few weeks

Dear Debbie,
So very sorry to hear about your knee. I truly enjoyed what you wrote about being a 'Martha.' So often I do the same thing. I too long to be a 'Mary.' Take care of yourself, take time to heal. I will look forward to your return. Sending you many prayers for healing and peace. Blessings and Sunshine, Valerie

My dear Mama Mrs Debbie,

I know how you feel it. It also sometimes hit me and I want to sit more and let my head close to His heart.

Thank you for inspiring me to be Mary more.

I love you Mrs Debbie,
Praying for you.

I realize I am a little late in commenting. I am still catching up on reading my blogroll from a week or two ago and realized I never commented here! I am so sorry to hear you had to have knee surgery. I hope you are having a speedy and healthy recovery. I am praying for you to be back on your feet and feeling much better soon.
You are such a blessing and an amazing example, despite going through surgery, to keep a positive attitude and to make something great out of what others may see as bad- taking this time to spend precious time with the Lord and listen to Him. You are indeed a "Mary" :)

Blessings, hugs, and prayers for your recovery♥
